I only wish there was more than 5 stars that I could add for Ginny and the incredible wedding planning services she provides. I was a little anxious about getting a wedding planner as I thought it would be very expensive and that the person would be bossy and controlling and I am already both of those things in spades!!! But from the offset Ginny was responsive, considerate in her guidance, personable and professional and I instantly knew she was going to add some serious magic to our special day.

We opted for a very intimate wedding in Lake Garda (just us and two close friends as witnesses) and following the first introduction meeting with Ginny, focused on her getting to know what kind of wedding you are looking for, she recommended the most perfect venue and had some fantastic suggestions of those little magic touches for our day that I would never have thought of and these truly made our day even more special, intimate and emotional if that’s possible!

Ginny had so many weddings on her plate this year given it was the first year of getting back to ‘normal’ following COVID and yet I never felt that she didn’t have the time for me and whenever I contacted her or had one of my bridezilla-esque panics Ginny was there with all the answers or solutions and I instantly felt calm…in fact I ended up feeling calm as soon as I’d sent the email or WhatsApp message to her as there was never a doubt in my mind that she would not be able to resolve or answer whatever whim I was having at that moment!

Ginny is unbelievably patient, vastly knowledgeable about everything wedding related in the Lake Garda area, and she really makes you feel like your wedding is the most important event to her. I never felt like second best, even though I know our wedding was teeny tiny compared to the other events she was managing concurrently.

I was actually genuinely excited to meet her in person by the time our wedding came around and even asked if she could come to our hotel on the day of the wedding as I wanted to see her in person as I knew she would calm my nerves…and of course she was there without any question or fuss and I instantly felt happy and serenely calm as soon as I saw her, she really does have that effect on you.

Ginny helped with all of our documentation leading up to the wedding, ensuring that we had everything in order with clear steps and timelines outlined which took a huge amount of the stress out of the planning for me. She sourced amazing vendors; the flowers were spectacular and completely surpassed my expectations, make up and hair were gorgeous, the trio of strings were so emotive and added that extra bit of atmosphere and class to the day, our venue (Villa Fiordaliso) was beyond perfect, the food was outstanding (we still can’t stop telling everyone about the mozzarella ice cream!!!), and the boat hired for an hour to go around the lake after our ceremony was beautiful and the boat captain was so knowledgeable and great fun, the videographer (requested at a very late stage in the planning by me and organised with zero fuss by Ginny – of course) was so professional, and the photographer Lorenzo (Ginny’s Husband) is incredible, we have ended up with over 300 photos and it is seriously hard to pic our favourite he has captured the spirit and emotion of the day brilliantly… So as you can see, literally every single detail was covered to perfection by the unbelievably talented and humble Ginny.

I could literally gush and gush about Ginny but seriously, if you want to get married in Lake Garda, look no further. My only regret is that I have no excuses to keep contacting her as I have nothing to bug her about anymore and I actually miss her! That’s how integral she became throughout the planning and I know I will stay in contact with her, which may become her only regret of being involved in our wedding haha! Seriously HIRE HER, it’ll be the best decision you make for your wedding!!!!

After 1 video call, we knew Ginny was for us! She was faultless through the whole process, letting us feel like everything was under control every step of the way and allowing us to create the most perfect day. She helped and guided us through the critical time of our wedding planning and was so calm and reassuring on the day and we couldn’t speak any more positive of Ginny and would recommend her to anyone and everyone!

What can we say….the wedding was perfect. Just as we had hoped. Many of our guest thought you were part of the wedding party. A true compliment to you.

We can’t say thank you enough for all you did. For me the day was drama free and that is down to you arranging things.

Alberta and her team did a fantastic job. The staff were so friendly and helpful. What a truly stunning Island. Coming round the corner on the boat was exciting even for me!

The service itself was just beautiful. You and Alberta put us at ease. It was one of my favourite parts of the day.

La Torre’s food and service were impeccable. What a great venue to party the night away. The DJ did awesome music I danced a lot!

Finally but by no means least Lorenzo. He was so laid back and again got many compliments from our guests. I can’t wait to see the pictures.

Ginny is the wedding guru! If I could have packed her in my suitcase and brought her back to the UK to be my events coordinator I would have! She thought of everything and questioned every decision which was brilliant! On the day she was there answering every question, making sure the venue were on top of everything and being a general superstar! If you could create the perfect wedding planner, Ginny would be that creation! I cannot thank her enough for everything she did on and before our special day!

Best decision I ever made was having Ginny plan/help with the wedding. Having our wedding in Sirmione but living in Dubai, Ginny somehow made the planning fun, relaxing and easy. Couldn’t recommend it more and I would do it all over again any day x

We were looking for a speaker to accompany our symbolic wedding at Arco Castle on Lake Garda. After stumbling across Ginny on the internet, we arranged to meet her a few months before our wedding date. Communication with her was always straightforward and reliable. After our first meeting we were absolutely sure that Ginny was exactly the person we were looking for for our international wedding (Germany, Portugal, USA etc.): Stylish, intelligent and with a very good sense of humour. We went over the potential ceremony and Ginny shared valuable experience from her without selling anything. Shortly after, we officially informed her that we would like her to be our speaker. Since we were still looking for some live music, she suggested us a great singer and guitar player. Two days before our wedding, Ginny came to Arco to make sure she was well prepared and familiar with the venue, clearly proving that she takes her job very seriously and leaves nothing to chance. On our big day, she came an hour early to make sure she was on time. She brought olive leaves so our guests could form a trellis. Before the ceremony, she really cared about making sure everything worked well in our venue and gave us great suggestions. You can tell she really cares about her role in the wedding and wants to have a positive impact on the event. To make a long story short, everything went fantastic, Ginny performed a wonderful ceremony, spiced with a good sense of humour. Several guests approached us afterwards to inquire where they could find a speaker like Ginny. We are so glad Ginny was there for our big day and highly recommend her!

If you’re thinking about a wedding in Lake Garda for 2022 or beyond but you’re unsure where to start or the thought of managing all the planning and preparations from overseas is a little daunting then we would highly recommend Ginny as a wedding planner. Thanks to Ginny we didn’t experience any of the dreaded wedding admin that couples often talk about. Everything was sorted for us including venue, photographer, hair, make-up and flowers. Ginny even helped us arrange a fantastic boat trip on the lake and meal the night before for all our guests. We simply shared our wedding vision and Ginny provided us with lots of options and suggestions without pushing us in any particular direction. Our friends and family continuously talk about how fantastic our wedding was and we couldn’t have made it happen without Ginny!

On 5th July 2019 I had the absolute pleasure of working with Ginny & Lorenzo for a Wedding based on Lake Garda at the very beautiful Isola Del Garda.

The planning that goes on behind such a special day is immense but you just take it in your stride. Thank you for including me in the whole process from the legal side at the Town Hall to the preview at Isola.

For the past year we have been planning our abroad wedding with Ginny and I am so pleased we did. Ginny was recommended by a work colleague of mine and as soon as I emailed her I felt a really good feeling about having a destination wedding. I told her everything we would like and what our rough budget was and she was able to give us many ideas of what we could pick as our dream wedding. She was able to respond so promptly and showed us where we could potentially have it. As soon as I described how we would love our wedding to be she matched our ideas to the actual venue and reception and we knew it was the one. Ginnys knowledge, thoroughness and expertise really showed throughout the whole planning of our day and there was never a stressed moment. If there were any slight issues she was able to give options and nothing was ever a problem and would be sorted within an instant. She foresee the whole of our wedding and worked alongside our toastmaster to ensure the running of the wedding was down to a T. Ginny really is a genuine and lovely person who we cannot thank enough for everything she has done for us. We got married at Torre San Marco on the 29th June 2019 and as in the planning of this (I was initially doing this all myself), I realised that quite a bit of the detail had got lost in translation and what I thought was all included, wasn’t actually and I would have to source contacts myself. After an initial panic in January when we realised we didn’t have the extras confirmed, the venue gave me Ginny’s details and she took everything off my hands (and also helped explain the cultural differences). Thanks Ginny, we had a magical day and thanks to you, I (a natural organiser) did not think about any details at all on the day and just relaxed and enjoyed it.

Ginny helped organise the most perfect day for us yesterday. Our bridal party was chaos but she even kept them in order!! I would recommend her to anyone wanting a wedding in Lake Garda. She was amazing

Myself and my husband got married in sirmione in August 2016. I had emailed ginny the year before and she planned every detail for us, she was so flexible and accommodated for all our requests whilst keeping within our budget! Nothing was too much to ask her. Our flowers were beautiful, our venue was amazing, food was brill, boat trip around the lake was a hit. Ginny really made it the perfect laid back and relaxed wedding that we’d both wanted. On the day she was there to translate for us at the registry office and there to conduct our ceremony at the hotel. She even came along on the boat trip and kept our daughters entertained for a while! Can’t recommend weddings at Lake garda enough, surprisingly hassle free considering you’re trusting someone else with the preparation of the most important day of your life. Ginny done a perfect job, we can’t thank you enough!

Me and my husband (from Northern Ireland) got married in Sirimone in August 2015 and it was truley one of the best days of our lives and thats because of Ginny and the team. The communication and help from Ginny put us completely at ease from day one and made the day go by without any hitches. Ginny was super professional and always on hand to answer any questions and put our minds to rest (and being a total bridezilla i had a lot of questions….sorry Ginny lol) Ginny also helped with all the paperwork required beforehand and recommended restaurants for our evening meal and hotels for us and the guests. The team included Ginny’s husband Lorenzo our photographer and the pictures the both of them took are just breathtaking. The makeup and hair was done by Lynn and again I felt like such a princess. Ginny also has contacts for the music which we had….a violinist and pianist and she was able to arrange flowers for the guests. Everything was just how we wanted it. I would defintely recommend working with Ginny and we put our complete trust in her and the team and it really paid off. Myself and my husband totally fell in love with Lonato Castle after Ginny recommending it to us. Herself and her husband Lorenzo made our day absolutely amazing – even though the weather wasn’t on our side that day!! That didn’t make any difference to us or any of the guests as Ginny was well prepared with Plan B! I had so many lovely comments about how beautiful our wedding day was, and this was all thanks to Ginny and her amazing contacts, making the transition from Scotland to Italy to get married, totally stress free! We both loved every minute and so did our guests. We would both highly recommend Ginny if you are thinking of travelling to Lake Garda for your wedding

More than perfect 🙂 We married this year in Lake Garda and Ginny was an absolute gem. She is highly professional and every piece of paperwork, venue, hotels, restuarants, flowers, photographs was left in her capable hands and we were over the moon with her expertise and knowledge. Getting married in SALO was the best decision, what an amazing location but without Ginny not sure we would have had such an awesome wedding. She made sure we had everything in place and helped us choose the best venue and best car….she just made everything absolutely perfect, my husband and I had the best day of our lives! To top it off i can reach out to Ginny 6 years letter to get me a new wedding certificate for registering the birth of our son. I found them Ginny and I liked her from the word go… So friendly and easy to talk to, patient with our constant questions and very professional and thorough. Frank en ik hebben een onvergetelijke, sprookjesachtige bruiloft gehad in Soiano del Lago. We zijn getrouwd in het Castello en het feest was op het land van mijn tante. Aldaar was het precies zoals we voor ogen hadden: een mix tussen een festival en boerenbruiloft. Met een mooie, lange tafel, heerlijke muziek, hooibalen en bijzonder smakelijk eten. Zonder de hulp van Ginny was dit nooit gelukt!

Me and my wife Kasia got married in the small but beautiful town of Salo in June 2016. We had the fortune of meeting the lovely Ginny the previous year during a visit to the lake. After exchanging many informative emails it was great to finally meet Ginny in person to be able to discuss the plans for our wedding. Throughout the whole process Ginny ensured that both me and my wife to be felt at ease and answered any questions we had, even going above and beyond in providing the information to us. On to the day itself it was one of the most relaxing days we have had as a couple thanks to both Ginny and her husband and the service they provided. We felt like we had known them for a much longer period of time. I would recommend their service and friendship to anyone who is planning a wedding on the lake.

My husband and I got married in Italy last year and used Weddings at Lake Garda. We were fortunate enough to find Ginny who was extremely professional and wonderful. Our wedding was planned only 3 months out so Ginny had to do a lot of work in finding a suitable venue. She found us the most beautiful venue in Salo and everything was wonderful. We highly recommend using Ginny and her husband to plan your wedding.

Yes, we are all back in Blighty and back to work 🙁 but the memories of the wedding and our time in Lake Garda are keeping me going! Our wedding was an absolutely perfect day and I am delighted with the photographs you and Lorenzo took. They are beautiful – I can’t stop looking at them! We have a family party next weekend and I will use the photos for a slide show.
Lynn was so lovely on my wedding day, keeping us all calm and did a wonderful job. The restaurant and boat ride were also perfect. The boys enjoyed jumping off the side of the boat into the lake!

Ginny, we had the best day ever and just wish we could do it again! Everyone has told us it was the best wedding they’d been to and I’m still waking up every morning smiling, thinking about it. My husband and I used Weddings at Lake Garda when we got married in 2013. The service from beginning to end was brilliant. Ginny sorted everything for us in a friendly and efficient manner and it was a joy to work with her to organise our special day. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone! A really good price, local knowledge and translation services – just what we needed. If you want to get married in Italy, do give Lake Garda and this company a try. You won’t be disappointed

Apologies for the late email – we’re still trying to get back to normal hours after our honeymoon. Back just over a week now and loving being married.
We didn’t think it could get any better but somehow it has!
The photos are amazing – We just don’t know how we are going to pick a selection for an album! So thank you both so much for them. We had so much fun walking around Salo with you both to get the beautiful shots and I think it shows in the photos.
All your help you provided us with in the run up to the wedding and on the day itself was above and beyond and we know we couldn’t have had the perfect day without you both.
(We’ll not speak about the Champions League Final – I hear it was good!)

We thought that organising a wedding remotely would be time consuming and painful but you made it a walk in the park. Your communication was fantastic and always very clear and that was critical in ensuring we were all on the same page and was one of the reasons why everything was so painless and actually fun to arrange. We were also really impressed with your vast amount of contacts and suggestions – the last minute tailor was a life saver! It was simply the most memorable and fantastic day of our lives and our 110 guests thought so too! You really supported us with our specific requirements and requests and all the various components we had seamlessly fit and flowed throughout the day. Our guests loved the dancers, fireworks, food, decorations, children’s entertainers and music and last but not least the stunning castle. We really had the time of our lives and we are forever in debt to you for pulling it all together and if we ever go down the path of renewing our wedding vows you will be the first to know!

We got married in the Summer of 2014 and Weddings at Lake Garda couldn’t have done any more to make our day any more perfect. I was very worried about organising a wedding abroad but Ginny reassured me all the way and was helpful in every way possible from florists, to hairdressers, and from reception venues to evening entertainment. I loved our Skype calls and the constant emails, this ensured such a personal service on the run up to our wedding. On the day of our ceremony everything was perfect and that was down to the meticulous planning that Weddings at Lake Garda had put into it. All home and back to reality here, although it’s a married reality!
We wanted to write a note to yourself to say thank you very much for everything you have done to organise Friday. We both had a fantastic day and the guests loved it too. A few of them have said how good you were during the day also. To put it simply it was the best day of our lives!
The flowers and cakes were great and we loved them both especially as we hadn’t seen them before the day. The arch in particular was gorgeous.
