When starting the planning for their wedding not every couple understands the importance of their wedding photos. I’ve had a number of couples say they don’t need a photographer, all the guests will have their phones and really they just want to enjoy their wedding day. These are all really valid points however, having a professional photographer there, who’s only job is to worry about capturing the right image at the right time, is going to mean that those moments will be so much clearer and better framed. You will have heard every bride and groom tell you how quickly the day passes by and it is so true. Those precious wedding photographs are really the best way to get back to that moment and re-live it again.
In truth I would say it’s the one part of the wedding that many couples don’t realise the real importance of until after the day when they get to look back on all those incredible moments and that might be when they first get the photos back, for their 1st anniversary or their 10th, I can promise you the moment of living again your special day doesn’t old.
Another consideration that so many do not understand until they start their wedding planning journey is the difference in style of wedding photography. Like anything else there is a wide variety of choice and there are no wrong or right answers, you have to decide for yourselves what are the most important factors for your wedding photos. Is it that they are perfectly posed, or that they are light and airy, muted tones or simply a ball to do and be a part of. Your relationship with your photographer, they way that they talk to you, your trust in them, is going to make all the difference to your experience of capturing that perfect wedding photo.
