Make your destination wedding a truly indulgent and restful experience in the picturesque and historic town of Sirmione. Famous for its natural thermal springs Sirmione was a spa destination even in Roman times and offers an excellent spa so that you can be completely energised and relaxed for your Big Day.
Sirmione is located on the tip of a long peninsula protruding from the southern shore of Lake Garda. The entrance to the town is dominated by the thirteenth-century castle, the “Rocca Scagliera” which makes an attractive backdrop for wedding photos. The ruins of one of the largest Roman villas, the “Grotte di Cattullo” are also a main feature of this charming town. The ruins can be admired from the end of the peninsula but the most decadent way to fully appreciate them is perhaps from a boat with a glass of “prosecco” to hand and your future spouse by your side.
The pedestrianised streets of Sirmione are filled with cafes, restaurants, ice cream parlours and unique boutiques which all add to the overall charm and flavour of this pretty town.
