A recent and thoroughly charming addition to our portfolio of wedding locations is a local winery situated between Desenzano and Salò. The working winery is nestled amongst the sleepy surrounding countryside of olive groves and vineyards and is based around a rustic yet immaculate farmhouse, private courtyard with garden and a stunning wine cellar. A truly evocative location that will certainly appeal to couples looking for a more “alternative” venue for their wedding day. It is possible to hold both a symbolic civil ceremony and the wedding breakfast at this tranquil location. It is the perfect solution for couples who would like both ceremony and reception in the same, countryside, location.
Venue
The winery is a very versatile venue in that it holds a number of different options for both the wedding ceremony and reception:
Ceremony
Garden Courtyard : Tucked into the U shape of the original building is this charming garden courtyard with a beautiful mulberry tree in the centre. Here it is possible to have a symbolic civil ceremony in front of all our your guests. With the venue exclusively reserved for your big day this is a lovely alternative venue for exchanging your vows.
Wine Cellar: With a capacity for 150xx guests the wine cellar makes for a delightful and highly original venue for a wedding ceremony. A beautifully presented room adorned with barrels and wine racks that creates a truly atmospheric backdrop to declare your vows and take some very unusual and unique photographs. It also is a pleasantly cool room which is an advantage during the heat of the summer months.
Reception Hall: The winery also holds a spacious reception hall that runs adjacent to the exterior courtyard and garden. The hall offers plenty of natural light through the large windows that open up into the courtyard and garden where the wedding party can easily move to after the ceremony for an aperitivo and/or the wedding breakfast. The reception hall can hold a capacity of 150 guests.
Reception/Wedding Breakfast
The exterior courtyard and garden area is dominated by a willowy mulberry tree in its centre and is a truly lovely and peaceful location for al-fresco dining. The outdoor area can host up to 250 guests and also includes a large gazebo.
The winery also offers 3 different interior rooms that are ideal for autumn or winter weddings or if the weather is uncharacteristically unkind in the warmer months. The rooms are varying in size and can hold around 20, 50 or 150 guests and are tastefully in-keeping with the overall elegant rustic feel of the winery.
The winery offers a truly authentic local menu and needless to say can supply an excellent range of wines and prosecco that are cultivated on the premises which will only enhance the overall flavour and experience of your Italian wedding.
Location:
The winery is situated between the towns of Desenzano and Salò and is a 30 minute drive to the A4 motorway which conveniently leads directly to Bergamo and Verona airports in 50 minutes and the Milan airports (Linate and Malpensa) in 1h45mins. The airport at Montichiari (Verona/Brescia) is also only 40 minutes from the resort.
