For my couples who book me for planning I can be the translator on the day for a legal ceremony and I can also perform a symbolic wedding ceremony if they don’t have anyone in their wedding party who would be comfortable performing this role. I however also offer a stand alone service as a Celebrant for Weddings either as the legal translator or a symbolic celebrant.

If you have decided to have a symbolic ceremony, as more and more couples are doing, then you have complete freedom over where you hold your ceremony and also how that ceremony should be shaped. There might be family members you want to involve in the ceremony or ceremonial elements that resonate with how you want your ceremony to feel as an experience for the both of you and also your guests.
If you wish to have a civil ceremony here in Italy I can translate this on the day for you but it doesn’t need to be only that. There are a number of ways in which you can still personalise your ceremony with your vows or specific ceremonies to symbolise the union that we are there to celebrate. Since 2016 it is possible to have same sex legal, civil partnerships here in Italy.
I will guide you through the process of choosing the style that will reflect the atmosphere that you want for your wedding. That might be including a family member or friend to make a reading or adding a religious passage or referencing a special moment in your lives. I can also guide you through writing your vows to each other whether they be meaningful and heartfelt or whether you want something lighthearted to have your guests chuckling in their seats.
